The best hikes to do in Brittany
Camping holidays offer a good opportunity to explore nature on foot or by bike! A land of hiking, Brittany has nearly 20,000 km of marked trails and 9 GRs. And near the Romanée campsites, many GR routes are accessible to combine the pleasure of walking with the discovery of nature! With its steep and rugged cliffs, lush forests, secret coves, Brittany offers an incredible diversity of landscapes. Here are some ideas for hikes to do during your camping holiday in Brittany!
Tréhorenteuc and its surroundings (Morbihan)
Tréhorenteuc is one of the gateways to the mythical forest of Brocéliande and the starting point of the “Val sans retour”. It is a magnificent 15 km circuit to do with the family! We discover an exceptional fauna and flora, the Golden Tree, the Mirror of the Fairies or the garden of the Monks.
Pointe du Grouin in Cancale (Ille-et-Vilaine)
This 8 km hike is one of the most beautiful circuits in the region. A two-hour walk along the Emerald Coast, where a succession of exceptional landscapes is offered to hikers. We also come across some historical sites such as the Notre-Dame-du-Verger chapel and the Daules guardhouse.
The loop of Île aux Moines (Morbihan)
This very easy hike to do with the family follows the GR 34 (coastal path). Opening onto one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Île-aux-Moines is a real haven of preserved nature, perfect for recharging your batteries. The circuit, lasting approximately 3h30, where roads and coastal paths alternate, promises beautiful discoveries! Accessible by boat from Port-Blanc.

- Emerald Bords de Rance circuit: 38 km loop from Dinard to Saint-Briac-sur-Mer;
- Coastal paths of the Crozon peninsula: 400 km accumulated marked paths and 11 mountain bike trails, divided into 4 levels of difficulty;
- The cycle paths around Cancale (divided into 4 levels of difficulty): the Vélomaritime (between Cancale and Le Vivier sur Mer), the Guesclin-Cancale beach loop, the Saint-Malo loop to the Sillon beach, etc.
- Lac de Guerlédan: 300 km divided into 12 circuits.
Water sports

Surfing, kite surfing, windsurfing, water skiing, jet skiing, longe-côte (aquatic walking), sea kite (wing foil), paddle stepper, wave ski (wave kayak). Lovers of leisure and thrills are spoiled for choice.
Brittany is full of rivers where you can go canoeing: the Odet, the Blavet, the Vilaine or the Rance… Sailing on the rivers by kayak is a very popular activity in Brittany.
