A camping vacation is a great opportunity to explore the countryside on foot or by bike! Brittany is a great place for hiking, with almost 20,000 km of marked trails and 9 GR paths. And just a short distance from the Romanée campsites, you’ll find a number of GR (long-distance footpaths) that combine the pleasure of walking with the discovery of nature! With its steep, craggy cliffs, lush forests and secret coves, Brittany offers an incredible diversity of landscapes. Here are a few ideas for walks you can enjoy during your camping vacation in Brittany! Tréhorenteuc and surrounding area (Morbihan)
Tréhorenteuc is one of the gateways to the mythical Brocéliande forest, and the starting point for the “Val sans retour”.
It’s a magnificent 15 km circuit for the whole family! Discover exceptional flora and fauna, the Golden Tree, the Fairy Mirror and the Monks’ Garden.
La pointe du Grouin à Cancale (Ille-et-Vilaine)
This 8 km hike is one of the most beautiful in the region. A two-hour walk along the Emerald Coast, where a succession of exceptional landscapes awaits hikers. You’ll also come across historic sites such as the Notre-Dame-du-Verger chapel and the Daules guardhouse.
La boucle de l’île aux Moines (Morbihan)
This easy family hike follows the GR 34 coastal path. Overlooking one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Île-aux-Moines is an unspoilt natural setting, perfect for recharging your batteries. The circuit, which lasts around 3h30, alternates between roads and coastal paths, and promises a wealth of discoveries! Accessible by boat from Port-Blanc.

Brittany has an abundance of rivers for canoeing and kayaking: the Odet, the Blavet, the Vilaine and the Rance… Kayaking is a popular activity in Brittany.
